Based in Accra, Adams specializes in project planning, design, implementation and reporting.
Before joining NRGI, Adams served for nearly a decade at the Parliamentary Centre, where he managed various projects. In the last four years he was the regional program manager for a CIDA-funded parliamentary budget oversight program in Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Prior to that, he was the information resource coordinator and later the in-country project coordinator for the Ghana Parliamentary Committees Support Project, where he engaged and supported civil society and parliamentarians.
Adams earned a master’s degree in development studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he was a Nuffic Fellow at the school’s International Institute of Social Studies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and resource development from the University of Ghana.
