Anna is based in Kampala, Uganda, and supports NRGI’s Uganda country program implementation, research activities, coordination with various partners and stakeholders, including government and civil society, and fostering their engagement on key program issues around NRGI’s work. Anna is a interlocutor between NRGI's country teams and regional teams.
Prior to joining NRGI, Anna was a programs coordinator at the Network of Women in Agribusiness and Development (NoWAD), where she was responsible for providing overall technical and management oversight of all programs/projects as well as overseeing the organization’s monitoring and evaluation function. Anna has also worked with the Belgian Technical Cooperation and on various USAID-funded projects in Uganda in a program management capacity.
She holds a master’s degree in public health, a postgraduate diploma in project planning and management and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Makerere University Kampala. Anna spends part of her time serving as a Rotarian in her home community in Kampala.
