Emma’s team is charged with ensuring that the organization continues to attract and retain top tier talent, as well as the care, nurturing and development of NRGI’s cadre of highly skilled staff, which includes lawyers, economists, and governance and data specialists in over 10 countries.
Prior to joining NRGI, Emma served as an human resources officer with both the United Nations Secretariat and UNICEF. Emma focused on organizational transformation initiatives, such as improving gender balance in civilian peacekeeping and restructuring U.N. and UNICEF information communications and technology.
Emma earned B.A. in government from Franklin and Marshall College and is currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Leadership. She speaks English, French and Swahili.
