Fraser Cook manages all aspects of NRGI’s relationships with restricted and core donors, and develops new funding leads with both thematic and country teams. He develops fundraising strategies and planning, supports staff to develop ideas into detailed project plans and funding proposals, identifies potential donors, manages donor relationships, and advises and supports staff to manage donor contracts.
Prior to joining NRGI, Fraser worked in Malawi managing rural HIV and livelihood programmes funded by DFID, and in Lebanon worked in post-conflict areas and fundraised for local NGOs.
Fraser holds a MSc. in social anthropology from University College London with a focus on youth and the Middle East.
