Civil Society’s Role in Anti-Corruption: Watch World Bank Dominican Republic Event on Monday, 16 March

While it is not considered a resource-rich country, the Dominican Republic may hold lessons for those seeking to fight corruption in a range of settings. The country’s Participatory Anticorruption Initiative (IPAC in Spanish), launched in 2010, and the multi-stakeholder coalition of the IPAC led to positive and tangible changes in a very short time frame and with minimal investment.
