The sixth annual meeting of the New Petroleum Producers Discussion Group will be held in Accra, Ghana, and will bring together people from the group's member countries.The meeting will include an international discussion, a national seminar and a range of policy-relevant courses which have been specially tailored to the priorities of the group.
The New Petroleum Producers Discussion Group was first established in 2012 and provides a unique forum which brings together governments from over 30 new and prospective oil and gas producers to share their ideas and experiences. The group is jointly coordinated by Chatham House, the Commonwealth Secretariat, and the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI).
This event will be hosted by the Petroleum Commission, GNPC and the Ministry of Energy.
