People and Policies Debate: 2021 Resource Governance Index findings for Tanzania’s mining and oil and gas sectors

The Natural Resource Governance Institute presented the findings of the 2021 Resource Governance Index (RGI) for Tanzania’s oil and gas and mining sectors on Friday, 24 September at the Policy Forum Breakfast Debate.
The event took place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar es Salaam and was live streamed online. The debate featured a presentation by NRGI senior Africa officer, Sophia Rwegellera and a plenary discussion. The discussant at the debate was a senior lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam, Abel Kinyondo.
