NRGI works with parliaments and political parties to strengthen law-making and oversight of extractive resources and revenues. This work currently takes place in Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Mongolia, Myanmar, Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda. NRGI offers training, technical assistance, easy-to-read publications, exchanges, and opportunities for political dialogue as well as networking with relevant stakeholders. As a result, natural resource committees, members of parliament, parliamentary staff and political parties are equipped to strengthen legal frameworks and participate in multi-stakeholder efforts to improve extractives governance.
