Based in Durba/Kibali, Haut-Uélé in northeast Democratic Republic of the Congo, Christian supports project planning, implementation of technical activities, advocacy and consultation with provincial and local project stakeholders, and donor reporting.

Christian brings experience in human rights and the promotion of participatory and democratic governance in the DRC. He has worked for several NGOs, international organizations and civil society organizations, including African Resources Watch and German Development Cooperation (GIZ). Additionally, he has lectured in human rights law and international relations at the Higher Institute of Law in Lubumbashi, DRC.

Christian holds a postgraduate diploma in arts (human rights and democratization) from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and an honors degree in international relations from the University of Lubumbashi, DRC. He is proficient in English, French and Swahili.
