Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) presentó la última edición del Índice de Gobernanza de Recursos (IGR) para el sector minero, del petróleo y gas de Colombia. El lanzamiento, contó con la presentación de Fernando Patzy, oficial senior de NRGI para Latinoamérica y los comentarios estuvieron a cargo de Fabio Velásquez (Foro Nacional por Colombia), Silvana Habib (Asociación Colombiana de Petróleo y Gas) y Juan David Gutiérrez (Universidad del Rosario).

Como proyecto insignia de NRGI, el IGR 2021 es una herramienta sólida basada en evidencia que permite a las partes interesadas, como gobiernos, actores de la sociedad civil, empresas privadas y ciudadanos, comprender cómo se desempeñan sus países en términos de gobernanza de recursos. Es un producto de datos públicos de libre acceso que sirve como referencia global, herramienta de diagnóstico de país y sector, y una hoja de ruta para la reforma de políticas y prácticas. El RGI 2021 es la última edición y cubre 18 países de África, América Latina, Asia y Medio Oriente.
