Max works on the Country Prioritization Framework, an indicator-based tool to inform the selection of countries where NRGI focuses its efforts. Max provides support to the Natural Resource Charter benchmarking exercises. He also coordinates NRGI's technical assistance and outreach activities promoting the uptake of the new EITI Standard.
Prior to joining NRGI, Max worked at the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin and at the GIZ natural resource governance program in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Max holds a B.S. in international relations from Southampton University and an M.S. in development studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He speaks English, German and Greek.
