Based in Beirut, Nadine is an economist with more than 10 years of experience in government and international organizations. As a senior economic officer for the Lebanese Ministry of Finance, she advised a U.N. Development Program project on macroeconomic and fiscal policy and public debt management. She also contributed to the ministry’s publications and offered public financial management technical assistance. Prior to that, she served as an economist at the Central Administration of Statistics, where she dealt with complex national surveys and analyses of socioeconomic statistics. More recently, she worked as a social policy specialist at UNICEF Lebanon and as a senior economic consultant to the Institute des Finances Basil Fuleihan, where she lead the capacity building project on municipal finance and contributed to research activities.
Nadine holds a D.E.S. and a master’s in economics from Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, where she also taught a public finance course.
