Lisa Morris

Capacity Development Officer: Learning Specialist

In her role with NRGI, Lisa is supporting developing learning paths, designing curriculum and implementing trainings or workshops.

Prior to joining NRGI, she worked for Karen Human Rights Group, a monitoring and reporting group in Myanmar, where she managed a capacity building program focused on report writing, monitoring and evaluation, and curriculum design. Lisa has also lived in Cambodia, where she managed a community based education project and developed learning tools for low-resource environments, and Malawi, working with a regional training program for food security and resource sustainability. She takes particular interest in community based strategies for the protection of resources and rights.

Lisa holds a B.Sc. joint honors in political science and sociology from the University of Birmingham and an M.Sc. in human rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
