NRGI Organizational Evaluation: Full Text and Management Response

In 2019, NRGI’s management commissioned an organizational evaluation in order to reflect on past progress and inform the development of its new 2020-2025 strategy. While the results of this evaluation have already played a major role in the development of our new strategy, we’re proud to release the final published evaluation. Readers can also access the executive summary here.

Alongside the final text of the evaluation, NRGI’s senior leadership have offered a management response to reflect the organization’s perspective on the findings. That document is available here.

NRGI supported the external evaluator, Cathy Shutt, to explore a range of critical topics. These included the approaches put forward in our 2014-2019 strategy, our theory of change, and areas where we may have needed more evidence to shape our forthcoming strategy.

While the management response provides an outline of how we will track our progress against the recommendations put forth in the evaluation, our learning journey is continually evolving and growing. We welcome further questions, comments, and reflections from others in the field.
