New Petroleum Producers Discussion Group: Reception and Launch

This event, hosted by Chatham House and its project partners at the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), will launch two new publications as part of the New Petroleum Producers Project. Speakers will briefly introduce the project, its new outputs, and its future plans. The "Guidelines For Good Governance in Emerging Oil and Gas Producers 2016" and "A Local Content Decision Tree for Emerging Oil and Gas Producers" provide practical tools for emerging oil and gas producers, with the aim of establishing context-appropriate rules and institutions for good governance of their petroleum sectors.
