Anne leads the various multifaceted engagements with government institutions, civil society organizations and other key stakeholders in the extractive industry.
Prior to joining NRGI, Anne worked in diverse industries in roles centered on stakeholder relationship and brand management. Most recently she worked in the energy sector as a business development and government liaison executive in a leading upstream entity.
On this role, Anne monitored 15 state oil companies, regulatory agencies and government parastatals in Nigeria, Ghana and Ivory Coast to ensure regulatory compliance and drive governance processes that evaluated the annual performance and budget provision for the organization’s existing oil blocks. Anne’s team was also in charge of new asset acquisition across sub-Saharan Africa.
Anne is very passionate about issues surrounding gender-based violence, human rights and poverty alleviation.
Anne holds a post-graduate diploma in business management from Albion College, London, and a bachelor’s degree in international law and diplomacy from Babcock University.
