Before joining NRGI, Christophe has been very involved in civil society organization work as an employee or a consultant. His previous commitments include trainings, research, legal advice, legal assistance for detainees, project design and implementation, reporting and the organization of workshops at local and international levels. He promotes human rights, social justice, peace, participative citizenship and the rights of small-scale farmers by countering land grabs. His work has contributed to the establishment of networks such as the Cameroon branch of the Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network at the Conference of Major Superiors and Delegates in Cameroon, committed to the use of advocacy as a tool for social justice, and the network of Catholic organisations for an inclusive and sustainable land resource management by influencing land reform in Cameroon.
Christophe is a lawyer and holds a LL.M. in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from the Catholic University of Central Africa in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.
