Your Views on What’s Next for Natural Resource Governance and the Energy Transition
Take the survey by 15 March 2021.
We are in challenging and changing times. Over the decades that I have worked on governance—including at NRGI and the World Bank, among others—I have always believed in the crucial importance of listening to voices from around the world. The views of citizens, public officials, firm managers, practitioners and experts have been invaluable in informing evidence-driven indicators, policy analysis, strategic advice and advocacy.
For some time I have been contributing to the Leveraging Transparency to Reduce Corruption (LTRC) project. It is an applied research and practices initiative on natural resource governance by the Brookings Institution and Results for Development (R4D), with which NRGI and other partners have been collaborating. Stakeholder engagement and consultation is a key aspect of the LTRC’s approach.
Colleagues and I have developed a brief survey to collect opinions from citizens, practitioners and experts from around the globe. We want to hear from you. Your views will inform priorities regarding the future of natural resources during this era of transition.
The survey consists largely of multiple-choice questions, including on priorities regarding natural resources and renewables, countries and regions of focus, various aspects of governance and the pandemic and the energy transition.
It would be invaluable and greatly appreciated if you could dedicate 10-15 minutes to complete this survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/FUTURE_OF_NRG. My fellow researchers and I will compile and analyze the data and share our findings in the coming months.
