Organized by the U.S. Department of State and the Universidad del Pacifíco, Peru, this virtual event will examine how countries with emerging mining sectors can better develop their clean energy resources while preserving their natural environments and habitats. It will seek to position the Energy Resources Governance Initiative (ERGI) and the importance of mineral resources in the processes of transition to clean and sustainable energy.
