Reconciling Industrialization and Climate Action in Emerging Economies: The Role of South-South and International Collaboration (COP30)

The roundtable is being convened by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and the Council for Critical Minerals Development in the Global South, as part of the “From India, with others: A shared journey forward” programming led by the India Climate Collaborative.
The discussion will explore how South–South and international collaboration can be leveraged to support emerging economies in jointly advancing industrialization and climate action agendas. Bringing together leaders from government, financing institutions, industry, and development partners, the roundtable will examine practical pathways for mobilizing climate finance and identify key policy, technological, and institutional enablers for implementing industrialization strategies aligned with climate goals.
