David is based in NRGI’s office in Accra, supporting the advancement of the Ghana program's goals. He contributes his expertise to research and economic analysis, supporting policy reform, capacity development and advocacy efforts related to energy transition, transition minerals, and revenue management.

Prior to joining NRGI, David served as an economic policy analyst at the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC) secretariat in Ghana, focusing on data analysis, research, report publication and policy advocacy concerning the management and use of Ghana's upstream petroleum revenues. He also has experience in corporate strategy and business performance analysis during his tenure as a research officer at both the First Atlantic Bank and Energy Commercial Bank. Additionally, he has worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) in Ghana.

David holds a master of philosophy in economics and a bachelor of arts degree in economics with sociology from the University of Ghana, as well as a diploma in database technology. He also served as a teaching assistant at the department of economics at the University of Ghana.
