Jennyfer Yayimba
DRC Program Officer
Jennyfer Yayimba is a program officer with NRGI’s Democratic Republic of the Congo team, based in Kinshasa. She brings more than five years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors, with a focus on social and economic justice and inclusive, accountable governance.
Prior to joining NRGI, Jennyfer worked as a safeguarding and accountability officer, where she supported communities in asserting their rights and helped develop systems to prevent and respond to abuse, exploitation, and exclusion. She also previously worked in the legal department of the Central Bank of the DRC.
Jennyfer holds a master’s degree in economic and social rights. She is passionate about strengthening local voice and participation and sees her work at NRGI as an opportunity to address the root causes of poverty, mismanagement, and resource-related conflict in the DRC.
