Maria Blanco

Maria Blanco provides administrative support to NRGI’s senior management team and contributes to the organization’s strategic initiatives. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, she brings expertise in sustainability, circular economy strategies, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration. She has worked with nonprofits and community organizations to implement recycling programs, reduce waste and advance climate change mitigation efforts.

Maria holds a master’s in environment, development and policy from the University of Sussex, where she received the Chancellor’s International Scholarship. She also earned a bachelor’s in international studies from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa. Maria is fluent in Spanish and English.
