The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), has organized a series of webinars to analyze the situation and governance challenges of critical minerals in the Andean countries amid the coronavirus pandemic and the global energy transition.
The Spanish language series of webinars on Strategic Minerals, Supply Chains and Governance Challenges in the Andes is open to the public but is particularly relevant to civil society organizations interested in developing their work related to strengthening the governance of critical minerals in the region.
The increased demand for minerals due to the energy transition should be an opportunity to improve mining governance in the Andean countries.
