The Green Transition: Ensuring Sustainability & Equity (La Javeriana–OECD University Seminar)
6 May 2025 • 10:00AM COT
This seminar explored how the green transition intersects with poverty reduction, inclusion and shifting global dynamics—drawing from the OECD Development Co-operation Report 2024: Tackling Poverty and Inequalities through the Green Transition and the academic and policy expertise of La Javeriana and its partners.
NRGI's Ana Carolina González Espinosa joined other experts during the session to speak about strengthening tools to deliver just green transitions. The conversation highlighted the roles of government capacity, financing and structural reform in enabling more equitable outcomes within and across countries. She drew on NRGI’s People-Powered Energy Transitions in Resource-Rich Countries framework as part of the discussion.
The event was organized by Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and the OECD.
