Human Rights in Supply Chains: Mitigating Corruption in the Energy Transition (OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains)

Transition minerals are necessary for renewable energy technologies, but for the energy transition to be fast it must also be fair. This session will explore the salient human rights risks within the transition mineral sector broadly, particularly examining the specific corruption risks of which all stakeholders should be aware, and will highlight case studies from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
