Recharging Resource Governance: NRGI Reception (Climate Week NYC)

The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) aims to unlock the transformative potential of resource governance in low- and middle-income producer countries to build more inclusive, resilient and prosperous societies. During UNGA / Climate Week NYC 2025, NRGI invited partners gathering in New York to share light refreshments, recharge, and reinforce the connections that drive our collective efforts in support of a globally just energy transition.

From the equitable phaseout of fossil fuels to eliminating corruption that exacerbates socio-environmental harms in transition mineral production, NRGI shares a commitment to equity, fairness, and putting people first — with hundreds of partners and allies around the world.
