Resourcing the Energy Transition with Justice and Equity: Advancing the Recommendations of the UN Secretary-General’s Panel on Critical Energy Transition Minerals

In September 2024, the UN Secretary-General’s multi-stakeholder Panel on Critical Energy Transition Minerals announced principles and recommended actions to advance a "new paradigm on mining" that centered justice and equity in the race to secure minerals critical to the scale up of renewable technologies.
