Dillon Mann brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, including building and leading communications functions at international NGOs across multiple sectors. He joins NRGI from mothers2mothers (m2m), a pan-African organization working at the intersection of health, gender equity and community-led development.

At m2m, Dillon served as chief communications and advocacy officer, where he led integrated communications and advocacy strategies across multiple countries. During his tenure, m2m’s profile grew and sharpened significantly, supporting strong revenue growth, an expanded operational footprint and meaningful policy change to strengthen recognition and support for community health workers.

Previously, Dillon was communications director at the World Wide Web Foundation, where he worked closely with inventor of the web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, to translate original research into influential communications that advanced policy change and public debate around an open and inclusive web. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in the private sector as a communications consultant.

Dillon has worked extensively across Africa, Europe and the United States, with additional experience in Latin America and Southeast Asia. He speaks English, German, Afrikaans and basic Spanish and isiXhosa. He holds an honors degree in business science (marketing) from the University of Cape Town and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
