Ousmane Touré
Communications Officer (USAID TRACES Project)
Based in Dakar, Ousmane engages with NRGI's Senegal team in planning and executing communication strategies, campaigns, events and other initiatives to support the USAID TRACES program. He serves as a connection point with the global communications team, ensuring brand representation and stakeholder engagement across events and media.
Ousmane has over a decade of experience working in both private and public organizations. Prior to joining NRGI, he worked with the West Africa Citizen Think Tank (WATHI), Social Change Factory (SCF), the African Union Commission (AUC), and most recently, the British Embassy in Dakar. Ousmane specializes in content development, relationship management and media coordination. He has extensive experience collaborating closely with local and regional media outlets, journalists, youth organizations, civil society leaders and other development stakeholders.
Ousmane holds a master’s in communications (focusing on multimedia and digital technologies) from Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis. He is fluent in both English and French.
