El Grupo de Trabajo de Apertura en los Recursos Naturales de la AGA está co-presidido por NRGI y el World Resources Institute. Encargó tres estudios de caso para identificar oportunidades y retos en la implementación de los compromisos acerca de los recursos naturales y documentar como los grupos de la sociedad civil participan en el desarrollo de estos compromisos en diferentes contextos. Este estudio de caso se ocupa de México y los compromisos de la AGA relacionados al sector extractivo.
