Le Vendredi 17 septembre 2021, l’Institut de Gouvernance des Ressources Naturelles (NRGI) a lancé le troisième profil de l'Indice de gouvernance des ressources naturelles (RGI) de la République Démocratique du Congo pour le secteur des mines et des hydrocarbures. Le lancement a compris une présentation de l’évaluation menée sur les deux secteurs par Descartes Mponge Malasi, chargé de programmes pour la RDC.




En tant que projet phare de NRGI, le RGI 2021 est un outil robuste et fondé sur des données probantes qui permet aux parties prenantes tels que les gouvernements, les acteurs de la société civile, le secteur privé et les citoyens de comprendre comment leurs pays performent en termes de ressources. Il s’agit d’un produit de données publiques librement disponible qui sert de référence mondiale, d’outils de diagnostic par pays et par secteur, et de feuille de route pour la réforme des politiques et des pratiques. Le RGI 2021 est la dernière édition et couvre 18 pays d'Afrique, d'Amérique latine, d'Asie et du Moyen-Orient.
