The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and NADEL-Center for Development and Cooperation at ETH Zürich will host the “Natural Resource Governance and Energy Transition: Policies and Practice” course online.

This advanced-level multi-stakeholder course is open to exceptional leaders from government, civil society, parliaments, media, international development agencies and industry associations as well as academics, researchers and analysts from universities and think tanks.

The course will equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to contribute towards better governance and oversight of natural resources. Specifically, participants in the course will examine the political economy of governance in resource-rich states and explore how it impacts domestic policy debates and practice. In light of the global imperative to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, these skills are paramount to leaders in natural resource governance who need to understand the impact of politics and power on policy outcomes.
