Abir Yahyaoui is an environmental geologist. She worked as a consultant with several non-governmental organizations in Tunisia and has strong relationships with key actors in the Tunisian civil society. She was a project coordinator with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung’s Tunisia office (FES Tunisia) and Climate Action Network Arab World (CAN AW), where she worked on the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals in national strategies. Abir gained tremendous knowledge and experience on the sustainable development field, which allowed her to be a part of the Tunisian Steering Committee of the 2019 Sustainable Development Goals Voluntary National Report. She was also in charge of an energy efficiency project with FES Tunisia.
She received her research master’s degree in geology (applied on the environment) and her bachelor’s degree in petroleum geology from FST University, Tunisia.
