Before joining NRGI, Fernanda was a program coordinator at Mexico Evalua, where she led work on transparency and governance of state-owned enterprises in the energy sector. Fernanda also worked as a legal and policy analyst in Mexico’s Federal Transparency Institute and its competition authority.
Fernanda has a law degree from ITAM (Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico) and holds an MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) of Columbia University. She also earned a postgraduate diploma in the economics of competition law from King’s College London.
